Trip to the 60s

Trip to the 60s is a bright, retro love letter to a decade I never actually lived through, but have always been fascinated by.

Inspired by my love of skiffle beats, it imagines stepping into the world of Carnaby Street, Beatlemania, Mods, miniskirts, jukeboxes, Vespa scooters, psychedelic colour and a culture that seemed to be reinventing itself in real time.

From England’s 1966 World Cup win to the Moon landing, Trip to the 60s celebrates the music, style, optimism and sheer sense of change that made the decade feel so extraordinary.

A playful time-machine song for anyone who was there, wishes they had been, or still carries a little of the Swinging Sixties inside them.
