What’ll They Do in 2025? is a playful, slightly uneasy 60s-inspired song written from the perspective of someone in 1965 imagining what life might look like sixty years later.

Through their eyes, smartphones become pocket televisions, social media becomes a strange world of likes and retweets, and the dazzling technology of the future sits alongside something much harder to measure: whether we have become any happier, kinder or more connected.

Beneath the humour and retro sound is a message from the past asking whether progress means much if we forget how to talk, laugh, dream, question and genuinely connect with one another.

What’ll They Do in 2025? is part time capsule, part warning, and part love letter to the spirit of the 1960s.
